At long last here is the first American Edition of my novel Ti Marie. It is my hope that with this edition the novel might reach a larger and wider audience, and perhaps, even the one for which it was intended, the popular reader and the romance reader. this is not to say that I don't appreciate the interest of those scholars and academics who have kept the book alive over the years, their task is to challenge and to analyze,i.e. to work at it, whereas I set out to touch the hearts of romance lovers and history buffs who read for effortless pleasure, escape and enjoyment. Well, it was a formidable task so I think I understand your question. but I was so inspired that I wanted MORE time to write and never thought about giving up at all. I kept a small notebk in my purse and wrote where ever I went. The writing of ti Marie actually went very fast! It was when publishers took over that things slowed down. but that is another story!
